Our most anticipated event of the year is upon us...
We're gearing up for another successful farm roast event this summer on Sunday, September 9th (2pm-5pm) with our gracious hosts - Local Foods Grocer & Distributor. We're busy ironing out every last detail. So keep your eyes on this space as we confirm who's coming, what's cooking and why an add-on experience is a good idea.
Breakout Add-On Experiences :
- 2:30 pm - Ark of Taste : Tasting + Information Session ($10.00)
Learn about (and taste!) Ark of Taste products, their origins and how to save our favorite foods from extinction.
- 3:30 pm - "Dishing" on the Farm Bill : Farmer Panel and Postcard Writing Breakout ($5.00)
Local Farmers “dish” and describe the 2018 Farm Bill and what it means for the organic farmers in the midwest.
- 4:15 pm - Terra Madre: A Celebration and Discussion with 2018 SFC Delegates (FREE with RSVP) You’ve seen Slow Food Chicago post and share about the upcoming Terra Madre celebration in Turin, Italy. Come to our final break out session to learn about the delegate scholarship process and international gathering of thought-leaders.

Music from Cage & Aquarium will keep the event lively and farm fresh flowers to be generously provided by Cornelia McNamara Flowers.
All waste generated from the event will be sorted and composted.
Under 21/non-alcohol tickets available.
Children 5 years of age + under who will not be partaking in the festivities (eating/drinking), will be admitted for free.
